According to a Windows Blog posting, those who are using Windows 7 will start seeing ‘courtesy reminders’ (pop-up message boxes) indicating that Windows 7 will reach end-of-life on 14 January 2020 and Office 2010 shortly afterwards. If you close the message box by clicking the X (close) button, it will reappear from time to time. In the message, there will be a ‘learn more’ link as well as a checkbox to “do not notify me again” to stop getting the messages.

Once Windows 7 and Office 10 reach end-of-life next January, they will no longer receive security updates. You should be planning to move to newer versions (Windows 10 and Office 2019 or Office 365) before then.
